just had a look on forges website but they dont sell the fiesta rs kit any more, they got some other stuff though

I agree, £300 is a lot of money. I am also aware that many people are having to watch money carefully, which is why they probably shouldn't be buying hoses worth hundreds of pounds for a car which is in all likelihood a secondary car and rarely used. If on the other hand it is a primary car, perhaps some common sense should prevail and they would change to a car which is more suitable for their finances.

Furthermore, as you point out, a lot of people are under financial pressure at the moment, in case you didn't notice, the companies that manufacture and sell these hoses are probably in the same situation too, hence the reason they probably don't want to reduce what is probably already a fairly low profit.
