Jeezo. Not an unrealistic price either, unlike a lot of other tuners cars that come up for sale.

That's fast! Sure Andy G was 9.51 @ 140 odds, and he looked rapid. This thing must be crazy!!

 

It's a fast car that's just got faster over the years!

Andy is a good guy, hopefully he'll be on to bigger, better things!

 

I think that time is from Pod too, so usually quicker else where !!

No pic's of the engine tho !!

Superb performing car but looks utter shit! RCM impreza for me is the ultimate modified car. If i won the lottery the gobstopper 22b would be mine!

 

have to say it don't look much really but it really has the performance truely stunning car well worth the money i would say

 

Aye, looks-wise the RCM Gobstopper is streets ahead... but if I bought that, then I'd want the funky crew cab/mobile workshop truck too, so I guess you'd be into 6 figures for that!! Which kind of makes Andys car look like damn good value!!

Andy doesn't build engines Craig... just sells parts and maps the cars. He could have passed Chris onto his engine builder to build his engine up though?

Not officially Grant, as he likes to concentrate on the one thing, but he built the engine in his Impreza.

 

Hmmm, sure he said he had them built for him... but then that conversation was 2 years ago when I was getting my own car mapped and talking about what my next stage would be, replacement pistons etc.

I'm only going off what he told me too when I was there(end of summer 08). He was saying that he wouldn't build engines for other people because the labour costs involved in doing it his way properly would be too much compared to some other tuners that do it cheaper, and obviously he isn't the kind of guy that would cut corners to keep costs down!

 

Haha no this is true, when you're building something to that level, to advertise your own company... you want things to be 110% spot on, so understand why he maybe doesnt want to get into building engines himself. Plus, his workshop isn't exactly spacious specially with all the turbos, exhausts, tyres, his Drag Car, his 22B and Newage packed in there.

If you've got Ł25k for it, I'm sure you could stretch to a lick of paint and a new set of rims.

Pretty sure the RCM isn't a 22B either, it's a Type R with WRC wings etc - mega money! Don't think it would ever be for sale either, it's the ultimate advert for RCM. Then again, I never thought I'd see Andy's motor up for sale either.

Hope it goes to a good home.
