yip thats it computer shows the code and they still don't know if it the sensor , wiring or something else thats causing that sensor to be out of range etc they go onto the vehicle makers network with the code and 9.5 times out of 10 they will tell you what it is

My old man had a new company car a few years ago, it went back to nissan with a lumpy idle including a bit of a rattling noise, and a lack of power when it was about a week old.

They plugged it in, computer said nothing wrong, so they replaced the ECU.

Same fault still there.

Went back again, they put ANOTHER new ECU in it (bear in mind these things cost thousands!)

Same fault still there, so my old man compression tested it himself, and took them in the readings and told them that the head gasket had gone and which cylinders it had gone between.

They replaced the head gasket, ran mint after that.

Its funny the extent to which some of them rely on the computer these days!

The gezzer who told me this problem was a tuner/metchanic and he's done wonders with my focus so ffar like finding problems noone else can see what a great company he trades as Hayes engernering/ dynotech he's based in erith Kent.
When does it come on full boost. Mines on full boost around the 3k mark on the standard i/c with over 300 bph. wheel spin is insane can't use full power in 1st, 2nd gear

Kl?

My mate bought it from a guy who used to use these forums. Did 275@wheels but prev owner boiled it not watching the temp gauge. Mate bought it and it never left ava due to politics really.

Shame,

Well I make intercooler's that aren't overated for the Focus RS, so I'm pretty spot on with the setup. But posting up some pics of the engine and how everything's fitted to FRS would help before dishing out advice on how to solve this lads problem.

Fair play, but is this something you have done before and would you recommend an air to air i/c over say a bigger charge cooler on the FRS?

ye loving it mate. always loved the look of them outside but was never sure on the interiors! went to cardiff a couple weeks back for it and after the drive up the road it changed my mind! seats are the comfiest av sat in yet! brakes are amazing. thats even compared to the P1 a just sold!

got a wee knock off what seems like the nearside front corner. changed the top mount/bearing but there is still something there! apart from that a like it.

need to look out for you in yours.

lower arms or something go thats connected to the rack. usually happens on full lock though like the evo6 diff problem.

Dont look up the price of a new rack as it's MENTAL. Theres a fix though using different arms. See the RSBB
