yip thats it computer shows the code and they still don't know if it the sensor , wiring or something else thats causing that sensor to be out of range etc they go onto the vehicle makers network with the code and 9.5 times out of 10 they will tell you what it is

My old man had a new company car a few years ago, it went back to nissan with a lumpy idle including a bit of a rattling noise, and a lack of power when it was about a week old.
They plugged it in, computer said nothing wrong, so they replaced the ECU.
Same fault still there.
Went back again, they put ANOTHER new ECU in it (bear in mind these things cost thousands!)
Same fault still there, so my old man compression tested it himself, and took them in the readings and told them that the head gasket had gone and which cylinders it had gone between.
They replaced the head gasket, ran mint after that.
Its funny the extent to which some of them rely on the computer these days!

It's running standard turbo with full decat mongoose exhaust. It also has a really crappy in induction kit which came with the car which I aim to change to back to original air box with k&n panel filter she starts to spoil up around 2000 but boost comes on at 2500 2700. I'm not complaining I love the way you have to wait for the lag to go before she puts you in the back of the seat I just wish tge delivery was bit more sooner coz wen I pull away I've either gotta rag the 6 paddel clutch with untold wheelspin to get a quick start or pull away then bury the throttle with less wheelspin more lag. The gezzer who told me this problem was a tuner/metchanic and he's done wonders with my focus so ffar like finding problems noone else can see what a great company he trades as Hayes engernering/ dynotech he's based in erith Kent.

Well I make intercooler's that aren't overated for the Focus RS, so I'm pretty spot on with the setup. But posting up some pics of the engine and how everything's fitted to FRS would help before dishing out advice on how to solve this lads problem.
