ive spoken to twins about these roofs a few times.check my resto thread (link in my sig)and see the state of my roof.i need the replacement, its not for show.as far as i know, twins's roof is skinned not the replacement.basically after speaking to twins, and looking at it,you have to cut the middle of the roof out, leaving 4 inches around the edge.you may have to modify the roof more/and the hole to get the cf roof to sit right, once youve had a trial fit, remove and then bond the cf roof to the remaining bit you left, add rivets if you want, apparently no cage is needed as the cf is in fact stronger than the steel youve cut out.

this is why when people want a new roofskin for their ERST, they always end up cutting the doner car half way down its pillars and not just taking it from between the rails, if u get me

feck knows how u wud go about it

Fair enough. After looking at the evo you can see theres no roof gutter to "hide" the join on an rst, so it would all have to be bonded like you said.
