Default Plumbers / boiler maintenace people???

I have a Worchester Bocsh 40CDi boiler. Boiler works/ed fine until a few days ago when the hot water stopped working, After opening the inspection panel i fould the digital panel flashing "EA", after resetting it's working fine but is now flashing "SE" , anyone know what this means.

Cheers, Ginger

it stands for (service engineer) mate it flashes up after so many hours use, theres a way of restting it wich i cant remember lol, but i got the info from the boiler helpline, the (ea) code is flame failure, it could of just gone out as (one of those things) but best to get it checked to be on the safe side.

hope this helps

pete

How do mate i work for bg these boilers are normaly v,good if the hot water has stopped working chances are it needs a new hotwater valve fitted the hot water is controlled by a rubber diaphram in the hot water unit over time the rubber perishes and splits once this component splits it wont allow the hot water circuit in the boiler to work properly
