how easy is it to remove the roof lining on a mk4 escort without ripping it in the process?

I got mine out whole and without and rips, without removing the glass too!!

Careful and patient is the way forward! Still only took 15 mins or so.

 

without taking the windscreen out? how did you manage that?

 

heat the edges with a hair dryer as u remove it so it makes it more supple and the glue becomes tacky

 

oh cool! didnt know that!
i will be needing to remove my windscreen eventually but was hoping to leave the windows in the shell as long as poss as its outside in the garden but i am still working on it when its not raining.
if its poss to do without removing any of the windows then thats even better!
i'll give it a go and see what happens!
