Need some quick help PLEEASE
Right i'm halfway through a cryptic quiz at work and i NEED to win - box of shortbread up for grabs here!!!
I'm stuck on these clues - the answers are either bands or artists.
1) From another country
2) Unglossy italian white wine
3) Get paste from tube
4) Dorothy's dog
5) Bird of prey with colic
6) Germany with coronary regulations
7) South american indian instamatic
8) Greenhouse plants
I have NO idea what these are - HEEEEEELP!!!

Nice one ta, come on guys, keep em coming! Shortbread is at stake here!!! Ive already got 6 bottles of wine and a litre of whisky but i need something to munch when im drinking all this!!
