Default escort van shaking help

when driving my escort 55 diesel van it drives okay when letting clutch out slowly.if driving fast and letting of revs/clutch fast it appears to knock/shake.
if you let clutch/throttle out slowly it is okay.
can anyone give me any idea what it could be so i can check

could it be a loose engine mount not sure check them

engine mount on gearbox down n/s, mines fooked on my escort van only the bold holding it in no rubber lol. check that

As the two guys above, mine does the same as you describe, and is also very noticeable in reverse.

My NS engine mount is broken, and although I have a spare one it's too much of a chore to change.

Adds character I think
