how do i close a window? Every time i click a link it opens a new window until i've opened too many of them

What i do is go to window on the options click on that then click on switch window then choose the window i am currently on, then click close all except current window.

may well be a easier way but i just do it this way

hold down the button under the green one... then press C on the programs you want to close.

there will always be 2 programs open
