Default when you order chinese food

what do you normally get?

i allways look through the menu really wanting to order something different but think what if its shit? then i do the same thing and order crispy shredded chilli chicken and prawn toast

what does everyone else get? i might be tempted to branch out with some reccomendation lol

When Hungover i'll get special fried rice no prawns no peas

Normally though it'll be - singapore style chowmein no praws no peas and prawn crackers

it was a lucky dip ordering chinese food when i first moved to holland...broadened my tastes though.

egg fried rice
crispy shreded chilli beef
chicken slices in batter
beef with mushrooms or onions
crispy duck
chicken and onion in satay sauce
roast pork chow stuff


a general mixture of the above, with random new ones now and then

None of it as i find it shite, much better to find the restaurants that chinese people eat at, though i do keep away from the chickens feet and the like.

if its the sort of place that does thai food as well; have a dish called "Pad Thai"
you can have it as a sea food dish or chicken or any other meat - i lived on it when i was in Thailand. Most places will make it for you even if its not on the menu.

if not i quite like beef in chilli sauce with green peppers. YUM

there is a buffet chinese in wigan called the phoenix and they werent great to begin with but then they stopped serving hot and sour soup and started putting out things like chicken nuggets, smiley faces and onion rings, WTF? lol needless to say we dont go there anymore

Crispy shredded duck and pancakes for starter or mixed starter which is the seaweed, spring rolls, prawn toast etc

then Special house kung po and special fried rice.

Sweet and sour chicken balls
chicken chow mein
BBQ spare ribs in BBQ sauce
chicken fried rice
prawn crackers for scooping up the rice and dipping in the BBQ sauce.

That's my normal order but i always share that with the dog she loves chinky night although i have to take the batter off the chicken balls,

sometimes i will swap the chow mein for beef and mushrooms or beef in black pepper sauce, or crispy lemon pepper chicken.

I mainly the same stuff, but with choices

Chicken balls or pork balls
Chips (don't like rice )
Roast/fried duck with pineapple or crispy aromatic duck
BBQ ribs or crispy chili beef

had chuiken and king prawn chow mein tonight. The obligatory prawn crackers were present too

I always say Im gonna have something different but I have very dodgy guts and I know it doesnt make me ill so usually bottle out of it at the last minute and order the usual

King prawn fried rice (no peas) curry sauce

Spring rolls

Prawn crackers

and if im really hungry bbq spare ribs in bbq sauce aswell

Oh and yes thats just for me but i don't eat chinese often

duck in chilli and honey
chicken and cashew
house special curry
salt and pepper squid

best bet is go to a chinese buffet so you can try little bit of everything and dont be scared to try, I didnt think i would like salt and pepper squid but its lovely

i relly want to go to a Indian buffet as i always get the same chicken tikka masalla
