Didnt make national day but did go to the drag racing finals at the pod (with pics)
Was a great day and some silly quick cars/bikes.Even a few fords there, including a red mk1 escort running a cossie lump on methanol! and a 1300hp cortina twin turbo which was fun to watch.Anyway heres a few pics
Oh and my piston which came out of a 8000hp top fuel car which did a 4.62sec quarter today as a memento

The top fuel cars are insane,standing buy the start line the noise those things make is just mad.Even with ear plugs in i came away with sore ears lol.

Spoke to the guy who owned it he said it was running in the region of 750hp.The best i saw it do was an 8.7 but got knocked out in the quarters buy a vauxhall calibra
