finnaly got a 200 bhp rs turbo sleeper
picked up a escort 1.6 ghia with a 200 bhp rs turbo lump in it driving it home a blew the diff spinning at 60 what a joke lol all part of the fun

i had a S2 with cossy management ect running 260BHP i dont think i ever spun the wheels at 60MPH, just plenty of touque steer, what tyre size? is it still running 155/13?

If you can drive its pretty simple to stop wheelspin.. Throttle control, left footing etc.

More likely it was not wheel-spinning, just the clutch slipping and the "blown gearbox" is probably the remains of the clutch sitting in the bottom of the bell-housing.
