any one punched out a strut top??

heard on hear that people have punched out strut tops on 3 doors when they'v fitted coilovers or just hard suspension, any one ever heard that??

mines has just had the engine bay bare metaled awaiting my mate to paint it just wandered if its advisable to stitch weld the strut tops or would this just be a waste of time?

If they arent rotten I cant see you having a problem unless you are jumping hump back bridges on a rally stage etc

lol na its just a road car, quite like a bit of track driving and iv got a set of gaz gold coilovers for it, cool think ill just leave them be then, cheers
