A car is either taxed or not taxed. Road tax is issued per month, so if it's still got tax on it when you buy it, it'll be taxed up until it needs retaxing, as far as I know.

But your driving a disabled regiseted car when your not, so isnt that illegal.

Same as your not allowed to use the orange (or is it blue?) disabled parking badge thingy if the disabled person isnt present.

you need to get the logbook changed over (from being classed as disabled )for you to be able to tax it and im not sure but i think they/the last owner was supposed to surrender the tax when they sold the car as its only free to them

mate has a car like this and had to go through all the greif of getting it swaped over

I'm not worryed about telling people cause i want to put it right, and i'm not using the car, it's not even parked on the road, the cars up for sale so i'll bin the tax in the window so people dont think they can use the car on that!

You cant use it, disabled tax is for the use of the disabled person only, that is if they are the driver or if you get the road tax as you drive them about etc.

Defo illegal to use it on that tax, unless for the disabled persons business/needs.
Just tax as normal, fill in new details bit with PLG as opposed to disabled.
There are VERY strict punishments for abuse of this.
