Default diamond parking

used these people for a meet and greet at gatwick when we went to turkey the other week....checked the milage before and after to which we noticed they had put 40 miles on the car..........we was told they are 400yrds away where they park it........asked for an explanation to which they asked for proof...didnt think i'd have to take pictures of the milage.....oh well just be careful if you use them people.

I did this at gatwick before and i am sure somewhere in the agreement it says they can move your car up to xxx amount of miles. They normally have the car moved to another site which may be a few miles away.

Cant remember which parking company it was now, but when we left my mrs rst to fly out from gatwick,we came back to find the front bumber stoved in, presumably when they "parked" it behind a car with a towbar.
Went back and dragged the manager out to see their 'handywork' and the cheeky fucker said 'it wasnt my staff, they all drive carefully' With that, we see, in the distance, a nissan micra get handbraked into a space and a spod get out wearing the companys uniform!!! The manager just looked as if he wanted the ground to open and swallow him up!
Tossers paid out for the repairs though! Funnily enough....

Yep most companies do not store your car at the airport, most have open ground/warehouse in which to store the car which in an area such as London can be up to 50 miles away from the site.

It should all be stated in the Terms & Conditions where your car is stored, so do read them carefully.

I believe it was on Television a couple of years back.

There was a big thing about this on Watchdog a few years ago and I'm pretty sure that Diamond Parking was the main "never use in a million years" company............. The main thing that people were unhappy about were the cars being parked at the side of main roads and not in specialist compounds as advertised.

I dont know if you guys remember seeing a rogue trader episode involving these "parking" companies. They caught one company out who were using the cars for general use and running up miles on them after they had collected them from the customer. This certain company also stated that the cars were stored in a controlled and secure area. They put a tracker on the cars and found they were just storing them in a completey open industrial estate which anyone could get access too.

Lesson to be learnt here..? Get a taxi!

it wasnt my Rs (no f***ing way)....it was the wife's car,we was told at maximum they might put 15 miles on by moving them from car parks.

when they handed me the keys back they were off across the road...didnt even get chance to look the car round before they went.
