Who did you buy your domain through?

You say your working on your website, do you have web hosting already? As you'll need this to setup your site and in turn you will be using it for your e-mail addresses.

Most web hosts which 123-reg.co.uk is one also will guide you through the process and set it all up for you.

Another couple of good hosts:

www.pipeten.co.uk
www.layershift.com

its a company called clickpic.com they have templates for photographers websites. i bought the domain name and 1st years subscription through them.

I don't mind if the hosting for email addresses will be different as long as it shares the domain name as i'll be changing to bespoke stuff after year 1.

I had a look through their website for you; The only way I can see for people to contact you via the website using the domain would be to use an online contact form via their control panel.

You would need to have whoever is hosting your website providing your e-mail service as it should run from the same server.

In this case I'd say contact clikpic and ask if you can setup e-mail addresses. I'd imagine not as otherwise you could bypass their service.

Edit: Looking at their customers sites, it looks as though you can, perhaps your missing an option on their control panel. It must be somewhere.

its down to the host mate, not the people you buy the domain from, most hosts will give at least 5 free emails on there cheepst host packs, the highr packs have unlimeted, even most free hosts will give you 5 free (on your own domain if you transfer) look at a diffrent host and you will see thay give XXX for free

It depends actually as your domain registrar can also provide e-mail addresses. You don't have to have a "hosting account" nor must you have a website to have functional e-mail.

Muska has a solution which provides him with a website, thus this is his webhost. There is also other websites they host which do indeed use e-mail addresses identical to their own domain.
