as title i bought one off him and it was split on the seam so icalled him waited 3 weeks for a replacement then i get a call from the paint shop this one is split more money to paint it now anyone else had this problem?
Yep, i have had two, they have both split, was told the first one split due to it being the first batch he did and he said he had resolved the issue with them splitting.
god knows the split only appeared when they primed it
was it baked to cure the primer? could possibly have been the heat that's done it. when i painted the one i got of ebay i painted it and left it to cure over the wkend.

no mate just air dried the other one was split when it came like this but it was only a inch this one so they repaired it then this. the last one was split about 8inches along the seamwhen it arrived
the thing is its gunna bump paintin up by Ł50 as they are messin about slicing it open now and fibre glassing it up grrrrr
bugger! see if they can paint it last thing. we used to have load's of trouble with genuine toyota spoiler's popping when they were baked. now we paint them last thing and let them dry over night or over the wkend.
it make's a fair difference when you look out the back wondow..i'm after the front splitter next. got the spoiler and managed to get the lower valance as well..

i had one off them off ebay,i think they look good & fit tight.you need to make some brackets for it tho so bare that in mind oh & one part of it is abit wavy but can be sorted with some filler

yes i bought one, it was made from very thin material, much thiner in places,it was very rough and would have required filling,smoothing sanding and painting.
let me know what there like mate. i'm not fussed about doing a bit to make it fit perfect.

Do you mean for the Splitter or rear spoiler? Where do you need to put the bracket?
Ive got a splitter, fitted a treat.Tapped a few speed bumps over the years and its stood up to the abuse well!!
