However, i also end up running machines, fixing the company wagons, breaking the company van and chauffering the boss man about in the company Audi A5

Interesting jobs lads.
I work for RBS and am a "Senior Planing & Implementation Manager" in the Financial Planning business, which is part of Affluent Banking.
I guess that the role title itself, gives most of you absolutely no idea what I do, so...
I set future year sales plans and reforecasts, negotiate targets on behalf of the business, look after the resourcing strategy for Financial Planning Managers, etc. That is the basics of my role however, I have that down, so tend to run other projects such as, Financial Planning:Saturday Banking (you have seen the adverts for Natwest "helpful banking etc." RBS " Fix it Saturdays" etc.. (RBS own Natwest by the way)), run the "Operating Model Review" programme for Financial Planning and so on. Basically, fix any problem I am given, motivate everyone in sight to make sure it happens on time and very efficiently, answer my phone 24/7 for work, no matter if I am on holiday or not. Basically, work very hard, under massive pressure and clearly earn every pound of bonus I have ever received, regardless of what the public (make that Daily Record readers...) think.
Cheers
