My fav photo of our holiday in Thailand last year....

I agree. Madives. No where like it. Once you're been if you go anywhere else and it feels like a poor substitute. Been every year since 04, again honeymoon! Roll on January!

Also, when I first went I was worried about getting bored. I'm a workaholic 24/7 non stop freak and I didn't get bored. I properly relax and chill out. Last went in December and took the 2 kids and the inlaws, they all loved it

James, I booked in for the 30th, your first day back after the hol. What a come down, fooking about with my rotten rs! lol

Another good shout if your budget won't stetch is SOUTH Goa, India. Superb beaches, weather, people and cheap as chips. I recommend Dona Sylvia Hotel.

South Goa

that memory will stay with me forever, and i still have the bruise where the mrs hit me because i shouted "fuck me" quite loudly on the plane pmsl

Johnny, I'm suprised your like that!

Mine wasn't really a holiday, But the 4 month tour I done in the Falkland Islands.

The Island has so much to go see and do, Even though its very bleek, Its a nice place to go visit. Seeing the Penguins, Sea Lions etc was amazing. The Mountain climbs I done visiting the battle graves from the war was very sereal anda bit of an eye opener for me as I love stuff like that.

Places I want to visit though, are defo Thailand, Maldives, Brazil, China, Japan plus a few more!

I did 3months away at the start of the year going Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, China (for a day... shite!) then 6weeks in Thailand and Cambodia, with a couple of days in Singapore and Malaysia followed by a month going down the Australian east coast!

lil vid is Whitehaven Beach, part of the Whitsunday islands, and the pic is the sunset off our boat we stayed on for the 3day trip!

hopefully going back to Thailand for New Years, but going to pop over to Milan possibly next month! (either that, of buy myself my long deserved first cossie!)

Did Florida this year with the other half and it was brilliant. Had a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a Shuttle launch...Went to Daytona Beach...Airboat on the Everglades....Universal...Busch Gardens...Seaworld...

Am definately going back to America...Would love to do a drive of the East coast...New York, Washington back down to Florida...

Next year will be a cheap european sun holiday or Thailand if he get his way.

OI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I suppose it was our honeymoon.

Definately go for a beach villa, ours was perfect.

It is true that you will be ruined for any other holidays in the future but also you cant leave it too long before you go as some of the islands will ahve gone in 50 years ish.

Everyone has the right to expereince true paradise at least once. James and I are just lucky we are getting to go twice.......... and maybe more???

(Please James work hard this year so we can go back lol)

Went to NYC this year for a couple of weeks. Weather was great, saw all the family and got out and about loads too.

Got a few fav pics but this one sums it up for me;

2AM ontop of the empire state chilling out, no clouds looking over the whole city before heading out to a club for a few

Not been abroad on holiday this year, been away a couple times locally, going to Gran canaria for a week in Oct. 10-17th. Went last year and really liked it so i'm going back, would go somewhere else but it's hard to find somewhere hottish at that time of year thats within decent flying times and worth going just 4 a week. Heading to the states next year to visit my bro in alaska, then going to Vegas and Miami, thats the plan anyway.

The Malidives is very high up on the list of places i want to go with the missus, i reckon we'll probably do it on a liveaboard dive boat though, but i'd love to stay in one of those water bungalows

Heres 2 photos from our summer diving holiday in Nabq, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt

The fantastic coral reefs, fish and shipwrecks were fantastic to whitness, shame i havent got any decent photos of the Thistlegorm wreck, that was simply outstanding, seeing all the old british motorbikes, trucks, bombs etc as you swam through the holds!

The second photo is of the wifes dive computer, showing how high the ambient air temp was lying around the pool

Yup... that's 48 deg C... hot hot hot!

Dunno what kind of holiday you're looking for but I would fly to Peru, do the Inca Trail for 3 days and end up at Macchu picchu, then do an amazon tour then fly to New York on the way back. Beach holidays can be done in Great yarmouth lol

Can't believe peeps go to same place year in year out. How safe and boring!
