Default Cost of havig a car machine polished? (Northeast)

My Audi TT has swirl marks in the paintwork and i'd like to get rid of them.

What kind of price am i looking at paying to have someone machine polish the full car?

It'd be easier if they came to my house to do it but i could take it to their garage/house/bodyshop if required.

I tried a while back but its still got the swirls, im scared of going too far and messing the paintwork up!

I just want it to look nice so i can stick it up for sale, and thats about the only thing letting the car down tbh.

Swirled paintwork definately lets a car down. I've tried all sorts of different products to try and remove the swirling on my car, never gets rid of it though!

I used a Mcguires clay bar and it made my 03 black Octavia look very nice but Skoda washed it and either removed what the clay bar did or they properly swirled the car back up Not had a proper chance to do it again, but a mate who's a painter said he will mop my car for £50 Just gotta get it down to him

£50 is really cheap i would say about £70 is a bargain the way to do it is mask the car rubber's and trim use g3 compound take you time if you havent done it before and watch at edges are thats where its more than likely to burn then use a cutting polish do the same again then a good polish take the masking tape off the do the trim and rubbers car and then use auto glym extra gloss and you will have a nice finish

tbh i use g3,meguairs,auti glym, poor boys, zymol these products will save you time and effort

Cheers for the replies you lot

My neighbour has a machine polisher but i've not had a chance to have a word with him yet due to us both working at different times, plus i feel a bit cheeky asking if he'd do it

Ive used allsorts of methods and come to the conclusion that next time Im going to get it done professionally. For what they charge by the time I account for my time at overtime rate, the costs of the polish and tape and heads and stuff its just not worth it!

its good stuff but it doesnt remove the swirls it fills them for a while mate, you really need to get the car detailed to completely remove swirls and then use the usual preventative measures to stop them returning, dont forget that ONE bad car wash can ruin a swirl free paintwork.
