Default Another "This site thread"

Well as most of these threads are negative, I would like to be posistive about the site.

I posted a thread up asking advice, aside from getting positive encouraging helpful replies (yep still talking about passionford)

I also got offers to help get material cheap and even an offer of help doing the work if i was close by

I aint close by but nice to think that people are willing to help out even if they don't know you

I say to passionford and it's peeps

Tis all

As a relative noob in comparison to the people who have already posted on the thread, I'd just like to say that i agree with the sentiments in this thread too.

When i joined the site, the first thread i posted i asked a question regarding paint codes and within a few hours i had links to online resources listing every ford paint code as well as people giving advice on good places to source the paint etc etc.

I can understand how people could mis-interpret certain relationships between members as cliquiness. if you see two similar threads one posted by a mate of yours irl and one by someone you dont really know, which one are you going to reply to?

I personally think of the few forums i go on this probably has less of a clique than most, and the community feel is pretty damn good especially the banter

All IMHO of course

Ive met some people that I started to talk to on here who I have built up friendships with and hence are now among my best friends, I probably wouldnt have met them in the first place if it wasnt for this site, have also learnt quite a bit of useful info.

Overall I definately view having joined this site as being a positive thing.

Plus its awesome for passing the day at work at its so busy.
