I had a word with her about it last night, and SHE said she just wanted to pay the bills/ food etc. and she wasn't interested in getting the house.
I may of come across as a bit of a cunt by what i have said, as it was me that suggested her moving in, and thats what i want.
Nothing will be in her name at my house, so i should be o.k.
I expected the typical splitarse reaction about commitment, blah blah blah etc. but she was really good about it.
And as said by some on this thread, hopefully it will never be an issue.
Thanks for the replies.

Honestly mate, I would still get a contract drawn up. I know it sounds a shitty thing to do, and make you look untrusting or similar, but as someone else said - if you stay together and it's all fine, it never comes into play. But if it all falls apart, like many do these days, then you have everything to lose and she has everything to gain! She might say she has no interest in the house etc now, but if you two do split up, women can turn nasty very quickly - and if she decides to be malicious about it and try to "get one over" by seeking assets etc, you'll wish you had done it!

By the sounds of it, she's a good lass with a sensible head on her shoulders (judging by what you said about her reaction) so I'm sure she'll be fine with you talking to her about a contract...

Bitch should of got a bullet in the back of the head!!

Why is the legal system so biased against blokes in these situations?? if theres no kids then the split should be fair based on contributing etc.

Sounds exactly the same as how my missus reacted!!!! You could jokingly swing it the other way as well and say she has an easy get out clause if she cant stand living with you and wants out without any financial hassles!!
