Credit card Insurance. Booking flights.
Im gonna book some flights to Australia and was thinkin of puttin them on a credit card for the insurance they offer but i would pay them off straight away and was wondering would they still be covered or does the amount still have to be on the card to be covered by the insurance?

So long as the item purchased costs between £100 and £30,000 and you pay any part of it on a credit card (not a charge card or Maestro etc), you are covered even if you pay off the next day.
However, where customers use a credit card to buy airline or other travel tickets buy direct from the airline. If you buy from a travel agent, you cannot normally claim against the travel agent if the airline delays or cancels the flight. This is because the travel agent contracted to supply the ticket, not the flight. So the customer would not have a claim under section 75 either.
