Default Brembo calipers in Escort MK3?

Hey mates I have a question:

I'm in a Escort XR3 MK3 project and intend to install Brembo calipers... I'd like to know which models and or specifications it needs to have to fit in the classic '14 cloveleaf alloy wheels?

Do Focus RS' calipers fit? I heard Fiat Coupe Brembo calipers would do. How hard to adapt them?

Thanks!

surely if theres a small enough disc the caliper would fit?

id imagine, S2 dics and fiat coupe calipers would fit under the wheels nicely

Thanks for all replies!

So, Focus RS Brembo calipers and Fiat Coupe's ones should fit my '14 cloveleaf alloys, right? Like these ones:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Focus-RS-...d=p3286.c0.m14

I just like to be sure because I'll go after them, the discs I'd look for around here (Brazil) due to shipping costs.

Which countries I could find these calipers? Only U.k.?

Thanks

Was thinkin the same.

If it is a 4pot system you want then maybe Wilwood or the likes or to keep it for some 2wd calipers.

Problem in fitting the Focus Rs calipers is that the radius means the pad will not have full contact on a smaller disc, not to mention the problems with fitting under a 14inch wheel.

For a simple upgrade maybe try the 280mm Fiesta St Brakes with the std Fiesta St calipers of a coswroth 2wd if they fit.

Again, thank you all!

Oh dear... So no Brembo options for my cloverleaf wheels?

Let me picture a bit of my project, I own a Brazilian Escort XR3 MK3 (86 hp) and I recently got a new and almost complete Ford 2.0 16V Duratec engine... I intend to turbo charge it, I guess it would be around 300 hp at least... But my idea is keeping the car's look like original outside, with a few eurostyle elements. The cloverleaf wheel is a Must for my project.

I'm thinking of the suspension and brakes for the upgrade, and I always liked authentic Brembo calipers as I reckon it as a good system and I admit that I fancy this brand very much.

I don't really know much about RS brake system as here in Brazil there is no REAL Ford RS...

So I'm open to suggestions for this brake upgrade, but I really would like to be able to install Brembo calipers in my XR3.

Thanks

leave the body as is then fit bigger wheels,to fit brembo calipersyou will need better brakes and suspension mods for the more powerfull engine so just fit the bigger wheels and job done

Hehehe! If there was a bigger cloverleaf wheel I wouldn't think twice! But this wheel is the main identity of the model, I can't leave it...

Thanks

Here I'm again with the same doubt... But now over WILWOOD 4pot calipers:

Which Wilwood 4pot model would fit under my '14 cloverleaf wheels? (I gave up Brembo ones)

Would this one fit: http://forums.turbosport.co.uk/showthread.php?t=131879

Thanks
