Default fuse box

how do you remove the fuse box on a s2 rst,i dont need the cable out just want to take box off bodywork.

pull on the cables it will pull the fuse board out revealling three cross head screws undo those and there you go bobs your uncle

you cant take "just" the fuse board or case out ... have to pull the whole loom out of car throufgh the hole once you have undone the 3 above mentions self - tappers

how do you pull the whole loom out?sounds complicated 2 me
how do you get at it etc,does it unplg somewhere

Its a long job to fully remove the loom as it is attached to the fuse board and cant be removed very easy.

If you do want to remove it you will need to take the dashboard out!

yeah it unplugs... off the back of the dash, switches, door loom at A pillars, rear lights, fuel tank ... etc.... aint simple im afraid

if your just lifting it up slightly,you will be ok, look inside the car, above the pedals, you will see the loom, i just made sure the cable ties holding everything tight, were cut, it then gave me a chance to lift it up, a little bit, just dont pull the wires about too much, or you might have problems later, if you look at the box, without the cover on it, get a thin screwdriver, look for a hole, "cut out " at the front edge, nearest you, on bit with the fuses in, then "pop" it out of the casing of the fusebox, revealing the screws, , as its been mentioned, it is easy, once you have done it once, good luck,
