Default What intake manifold is this? + Manifold Options

It's a zetec turbo, but i've never seen the intake manifold before?

Also, what options are there for a 1.8 zetec turbo. I dislike the 'over the rocker' style intake mani's so looking for one like the above, what's available people?

(i've searched but not found the exact answer i'm after)

it reminds me of the 1.8t vag manifold, which would be perfect if it'd fit.

Find out which it is please mate!!

Appreciate that but it's only really focussed on ian howell's manifolds. I'm not after spending as much on a manifold as i am on the engine build itself.

I see the Rover 820 manifold is dirt cheap including a throttle body...

Fitment an issue?

The ports are nearly identical. You can buy an adaptor plate off eBay for about Ł40 or for a few quid more like I did once, have a plate made with the correct ports cut off the rover flange and weld them together. Job done.

sounds easy enough, anyone know if the vag 1.8t manifold is similar port spacing?

they can easily run 400+bhp so they must be half decent. IIRC they are similar shape to the one pictured about.

Make one from scratch? Trying to keep costs down on the engine build.

As i don't have a zetec yet i'm not making any arrangements.
