Default cvh build time!

hi guys looks like the fiesta engine has given up again. damn turbo cvh! just wondering what my best options are. does anyone know what sort of power and boost the pistons on cvh turbos can take. im hoping to build an engine that i can reliably get 200 hp without going for forged pistons as cash is tight! its an efi setup with a 195 chip, beige injectors t285 t2 cam, t3 turbo etc. anything else i should be aware of? oil pump and gaskets go without saying along with head rebuild!
cheers, mike

mike why not just zvh it fella ,,

cheaper than a rebuild on a cvh , more power

keep all your bits and just have the chip re written

job jobbed

ohh and youll hit 200 with a decomp plate , thus saving machining pistons ,

yes the cvh will take about 250. Just put steel rods in it if you're going to go any further. My preference is the cvh.

so for 220hp can i reliably run the std pistons and rods and not worry about melting a piston. dont want to build it and blow it straight away! want to build and track day it!

I would personally build a zvh, but if you have it in your head to build a cvh i would replace the rods and defo use arp big end bolts as ive had both these items break in turbo'd cvh's, melting pistons will be down to mapping if you ask me.
