Roll cage question

yes cut holes in the floor to drop the legs through, weld all the way round the top of the tubes, lift it back up a weld the holes up and fit the reinforcing plates etc. thats they way I've been told its done. Make sure you pick and choose very carefully who you get to fit a roll cage as I've seen some really dangerous attempts !

if you cut the main hoop in the middle , colps the cage and put it in , then reweld ,thats nother way but you loose a lot of the strength of the main hoop then ,
another way is to loose 3 or 4 inches off the bottom of the main hoop legs , this will give you room to manouver , by the time you have the missing inches welde back o , boxed in and a couple of strengheners itll be as strong as ever .
