We got problems with a freelander and the back window dropping all the time, something todo with water getting into the door handle switch. Well known problem with them.

ive heard the same about the back wndow too and the headgaskets on the petrols are a common issue, my aunts one failed after just over 300 miles from new..

The rear window falling out is the last of your Freelander Ownership problems.
I've had them as site Vehicles and the rear ends are poor. Infact the whole drive train is poor. Only thing thats anygood is the lumps .. Although they can cause problems (see post 4)
Buy a Toyota.
