Nice knowing ya! had them on mine! tho now im on a cheaper set! and theres even worse! then again the front wheels are only useing about 3inchs of the tyre anyway! as christain and gary @ apt saw!

M brian are you sure it was fifth gear mate? 160bhp wheel spining in fifth is not likely, maybe a slipping clutch?

I've seen a set of F1's the same after 3 laps of Dono on an Integrale.

I use them on the front for track days and think they are great, real stickey and good control. avon ZZ1s on the back no grip but sooooooo mutch fun?

Why would you skimp on 4 tyres ona Cosworth for god's sake?

..... and people boast about their 2wd saff lighting up in fourth on the motorway - I'm not fookin surprised!

Got 2 on the back of my RWD cossie. Done 2 track days with them on the car with no problems. Had better traction than the goodyears they replaced.

I have also tested the Goodyear F1's to their limit on track and they also melt the surface of the tyre in the same way but they didnt give up gripping while the surface was covered in rubber crumb from the tyre.

IMO you get what you pay for with tyres. Its not only the tread design that makes a difference its the heat and grip from the compund of the rubber, and thats what your paying for
