I got a bailey header tank and swirl pot to try and help sort overheating issues on me saff (cracked header tank for starters, swirl pot because i thought what the hell!), also probably got a big expense looming as the missus was getting ideas about getting rid of the sportka and having a fiesta st......
She did come up with a very good point on the way down there though, are all cossies as delicate as mine? i was sticking to the slow lane on the motorway due to the overheating issues, but every other cosworth we saw on the way down was either doing the same thing (and im talking 50 / 60mph crawling here!) or had already broken down and was on the hard shoulder! bang went my argument of "my car will be ok once ive sorted all the problems on it" that ive been telling her since i bought it!

I got a bargin ticket to get in for a Ł10, bloke came up to me and said he reserved one for his mate and his not coming do i want it, damn right!!
Also got a fordfair plate thingy of fastford and spent Ł20 on drinks some chips and a sausage ouch!

yeah you and me both think mine has cost me well over 2k in the last month or so
but its all good as the missus had the spending bug hence all the bling bits
and a few people came and spoke to me about the car/feature in fastford so its all good sort of makes it worth the work/spending

I got a new front numberplate as my old one looks proper shit, a car cover to stop the snotbox from getting covered in shit in the garage, some Meguiar's cleaning stuff and a brand new set of genuine Ford front foglamps!!

Saw your car a few times, lovely noise coming from it. had me guessing about engine though, thought it was diesel at first cause it was far away and seemed to dump lots of air with no revs lol.
Why aren't there more modded diesels there? They're silly quick to 60 compared to some small petrols.
I've lived with a diesel clio for about 9 months (80bhp). it surprised lots of people off the line through second and third. Just lacked top speed.

I got a cam belt tensioner some filters and gaskets off matt lewis, a gauge holder, a crank pulley, an injector line, a pair of bucket seats, a pair of harnesses, a breather kit and the feeling of being raped from handing the burger man a tenner and only getting coins for change.
