Default my 8 year old tested his new kart today

santa got him it for xmas but he lacked confidence to use it until he went karting in spain last week, he said he was ready to try it so today he did!

went fairly steady to start with then he upped his pace after getting used to it, it rained for 10 mins mid morning and he had a big off into the tyres due to the wet track, got staight back into it tho!
then mid afternoon some loony in a rented kart rammed into him and spun him off the track
was there from 10 till 6 and he absolutely loved it, just need to get his confidence up now to actually use full throttle it's a comer cadet and will do just over 50 flat out apparntly, bloody quick when your 8 years old!

and a quick video

Ive got 2 girls, but at least one of them is going to be the first female F1 world champion whether they like it or not

in fairness the younger one is taking a lot of interest in cars at the moment so I am looking forward to giving them a go in a kart in a couple of years, and see if either of them enjoy it, and if they do I am going to do an Anthony Hamilton.

Me and my Dad built one for fun when I was a kid but we never had the money to race it.

Good luck to your lad, lets hope he takes it further
