Default 3dr Sierra Cosworth Value

About a year and a half ago I uncovered a 1 owner 3dr Cosworth in white. It had been laid up for 10 years, and I have finally got round to getting it back on the road.

I am wondering about its value as I want to insure it with an agreed value.

Its 1 owner, 6k miles every service bill MOT from new totally original.

Over to you.

6k miles............

Must be worth 15k+ i,d say, i,ll probably be way off... but that,s just a perfect sounding car, one owner also.

Try Colin Newbrey the 3dr Registrar on the RSOC fella...

Wow! 6K miles, I'd love to see that. 3 doors seem to be fetching big money these days.

Well mine,s valued @ 13k with 34k miles on, so i,d guess yours would be a tad more fella...

Just depends what someone is willing to pay when selling though, so i don,t read too much into it tbh...

Must be around £15k providing it's absolutely original mint as to me mileage is nothing on an RS if the conditions isn't of a concours standard as engine builds and restos are more common and in the end it's a better car than original.

Hmmm very hard to put a rice on that I'd say, but if i owned it I'd want more than 15k for it that's for sure.

Im with you on that one. why would you want a car with low miles, unless its gona be destined to a concourse trailor queen life.

Cant see the point paying all that money, to then feel guilty every time you take it out.

Saying that tho, id say £15k is about right for insurance purposes, maybe even a little more due to the low mileage, as you could probably never replace that!

At the very least 15k, but as low mile 3drs seem to be even rarer than low mile RS500s you could be getting closer to 20k these days if its condition reflects its mileage
