Default Been Conned All Sorted Got A Full Refund

My wife wonted a Links of London bracelet so i thought i would buy her one went on google and done a search for links of London and it come up with the the site http://www.linksoflondonstore.com/ so i went on there ordered what i wonted and then payed for it using pay pal then today i receive a email saying that you items will be delivered in 7-10 working days from Hong Kong so i went back on to the website as something didn't seem right then i readed the Privacy Statement and in there it says

11. DISCLAIMER:

All products sold within this website are replicas, imitations or reproductions. All of our jewels are replicas

So now what do i do can i get my money back through pay pal or have i just wasted my money

Just out of interest, how much did you pay? I paid 130 for a real one. If it's cheap enough just keep it!

If it doesn't look genuine enough, sell it on. The fakes are easy sold, it doesn't bother sone people

ask the company for a refund thats all you can do really. there is a Links Of London shop in Windsor. My girlie buys loads from it there and Tiffany jewellery lol. Maybe bell them and they will give you a proper website or maybe buy it off them over the phone.

Looks to me like the information is readily available but you just didn't read it. Case of lesson learnt?

Should of bought from a more 'authentic' place. That website looks so chinese / non-genuine. Surely you local jewelers could of helped you out?

I just googled "Links of London" and the first Link I got was http://www.linksoflondon.com/

Links of London is a Trademark. So I fail to see how Links of London Store is even legal as a 'trading' name!

The mere fact that their privacy statement apparently claims to exclude "those affiliated with or working for links-london. directly or indirectly, or any other related group(s) or person(s) representing this company" just stinks of them being on the borderline of legal trading!

I bet you clicked a 'sponsored link' in the google search results didn't you?

I'd only ever use paypal when buying off ebay, if a website doesn't take credit cards then I stay clear.

Just ask them for a refund as its not clearly stated on the site.

If that doesnt work, go and buy a genuine one from the shop, then take it back the next day but give them the fake one back instead. Jobs a good un!

http://www.oft.gov.uk/advice_and_res...g-regulations/

This covers ALL goods brought over the internet, phone, door to door salesman etc!!!!!!

+1

The site appears set out to deliberately decieve as they use the Links of London logo in a number of their photos.

I'd call my card provider and or paypal to get them to stop the transaction and contact the seller informing them of your intention to withdraw from the purchase.
