But I DO remember the dubbed A-team, Sesame Street, the Magic Roundabout, Babar, Transformers ( I loved the noise they made when they transform....), Saturday Night Fever, Grease (the REAL movie not the musical)....
We had great cartoons like Goldorack, Captain Flame, Albator....
My mum used to make caramel coated tablespoons and I'd go and run play outside with one stuck in my mouth... and survived....
I remember detention at school
and the teachers not being scared of us... 
Heck, I even remember those extra long multi colored leg warmers we used to wear over our jeans...

What about the tv program 'Round the Twist', I think it was an Austrialian import? '...strange things happening, are you going round the twist!'. Brilliant!
Nightmare, was cool, I used to really like watching that! Did any team manage to do that in the end?
Tom and Jerry, used to be shown on children hours, but now apparently, it has to be shown after the 9:00 watershed because of the violent contents apparently?!
Anyone remember that game, 'catipults and cross bows'? or it was called something like that?! I remember tuning the cross bows so you could like physically move your apponents plastic cast castle backwards!!!!lol (anyone who knows the game will be shocked). I wouldn't of thought a game like that, that fired plastic projectiles would be allowed today on health and safety grounds, lol
Me and my mates used to play on building sites as well back in the day, lol Making like underground bases, below where the diggers and dumpers would be moving above ground!! scary, how the hell did we make it, lol!!

I just remembered a cartoon called Bravestar
He was a Red indian sheriff with a crap gay horse, but when the horse got pissed off it turned into a hard bastard with a big gun!
The theme went a little like this
Bravestar.........ooooooh............Eyes of the Hawk, Speed of the PUMA.............Bravestar........Oooooooh........ ..Strength of the Bear, i've forgotten the rest.
