ive been given a 5 door j plate escort which has some s/h. neway problem is someone crashed into the rear door ( drivers side). ive been given it to replace door and sell, but the problem is its sorta deformed the bottom of the arch that the door closes over ( if u get that )... im to scared to open the door incase it wont shut. do u rekon it would be worth getting it knocked out ( and new door ) or sell like it is? is it worth much? its only a 1.3 but its quite quiet for an hcs engine.

prolly not worth much more than Ł500 imo

 

im afraid lower specced escorts go for a pittance these days, id say you would struggle to get Ł400 round here. Cut some panels off a scrapped one and weld them on yourself. its not worth paying someone

 

its done 130.000 and has history upto 75.000 a new clutch at 95.000. but the engine and box are far beter than ne other escort ive seen ( this age and engine neway )

 

if its on 130k mate, i really dont think you will get much at all for it.

it will cost more to fix thatn its worth unless you do it all yourself

maybe sell the engine and g/b seperately?
