I'd invest it in a handful of pre-1980 Fords that could be turned round for a profit. I can see a fair wedge of cash to be made on several that are for sale at the moment!

I don't have a link, but the one that stood out the most was in this week's Classic Car Weekly. Mk1 Escort 2dr, 1973 base model, one owner from new, always kept garaged, 37,000 miles, tax and MOT until December, £2250.

Whichever route you choose to go down with that one, you'd make moeny on it, no doubt!

CNC milling machine and a laptop. Get designing some parts and bang them out.

A welder and some skill.

You would be sorted then.

If someone has the money to start the busienss here is a great plan I always wanted to do but its not an industry I know anything about.

Microchipping children.

As a country we spend thousands to be able to track dogs, horses and even cars, but why not children? I would love to be able to login to my phone and pinpoint my children 24hrs a day. Maybe this technology already exists?

Another idea I had was a public toilet that had a prgnancy test kit built in so when you used it, you could put £1 in the slot and it would analyse your urine and tell you if your pregnant. I reckon it would be very popular in nightclubs etc as pissed up women would be an easy target for this tool.

Just two of my many ideas but these are two I will never follow up so if you fancy it and make something of it, remember me.

Im not surprised at all. I went to school with a very rich family, they have a house in Florida, several Bentley's, massive house here with an indoor swimming pool etc etc. The father made his millions selling dildos!

Fair play, but it wouldn't be the sort of thing I could run a business for.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, ive had a few ideas, the childcare/creche thing is my fave at the moment, i think it could be setup for a relatively small sum and provided the building was right could yield a good return.

There does seem to be a lot of Ofsted requirements with registration, but no deal breakers thus far.

Anymore for anymore?

The idea is to start something that will eventually be self-sufficient, ive got some time on my hands now owing to recent redundancy and am having next to no luck getting a job back in product development so figure why not, if ever there was a time in my life to do it, now is it.

Start a Tanning Salon

I fixed a computer for a girl who runs one and was there for 2 hours, the amount of people who came and went in the 2 hours was amazing.

Then you can bring in girls who do beauty treatments, hair & make up, Nails etc get them all paying you rent and jobs a good 'un

As my tattooist said, people always have a little bit of money to spend on themselves to make themselves feel better when things are down, like they are at the moment and judging by the waiting time to get tattoo'd at the moment and how many men and women who went through this tanning place he is spot on.

If you have honestly come into this kind of money or have it saved, you should do your research and start trading shares. I trade with about 7k and am seeing good returns.
