Default COURIERS need shooting!!

I have bought some bits off phill eddowes for my s2, they came today, brilliant i thought till he knocked on the door and said 'i dont think you will want this m8', so we went out to the truck and there it was my mongoose 3" system, front section CRUSHED....grrrrrr....(the words i said to the courier cant be repeated). 'But thats not all he said', as he shows me the back box 'this is damaged too', by this time im well pissed , i rung the company and they couldnt care less ....

my point is why charge a small fortune for delivery then damage it...

(cheers phil, the other bits r bang on m8, think i might have some more bits off u soon.. )

Business Express lose my parcels all the time. Something simple like new axle stands, nothing complex. Have been missing for over a month now.

Parcel Force are good imo.

the fooking tool who delivered by guages today couldnt find my box, so he was throwing stuff about in the van to find mine, he actually chucked mine out the way too but then realised it was my parcel

he was old otherwise he would have got some proper abuse

rs-nut-john, I wouldnt have let the courier go any fuckin where until they agreed to reimburse me for the damaged goods ring them up and say you will see them in court unless they pay out or something....

we use omega but now its gone over to dhl there shite
parcel force are so expensive
they do everything on weight
we get a next day delivery Ł12.50 or gold dilivery Ł20
for any parcel even bumpers and doors if we wanted up to 60 kg
if we sent a rear brake kit out it would cost over Ł28 for a next day due to the weight
small things we send royal mail next day there very good

Ok parcel force are ok but they still dont care about the parcels at alll as i worked for them for a bit and business post well i've done some trunking to birmingham HUB for them and the loaders at the HUB are complete wank8rs if its not in the sorting cage it is at great risk of being smashed to bits as if it dont fit they just ram t on the back of the lorrys

You've hit the nail there tho, you pays ya money you get better service.

I regually go into parcel hubs (the place where all ya parcels go to be re-directed around the country) and you should see how they get handled in those places!!! JEEEEZ Who'd of thought you could drop kick a box that far

The places are full of convayour belts, slides and slopes - the amount of things that get busted is unreal

Parcel Force are good for the money you have to pay out.

Know how you feel John.

I bought some alloys earlier this year, when I got them, all 4 were so badly damaged that I had to pay out to get them all refurbished.

Apparently the courier company didnt want to know, but I only have the bloke I bought them offs word on that as he wouldn't give me their details so I could go ballistic at them myself.

My beef with all couriers except Parcel Force is that their delivery drivers have the IQ of a fucking snail. My address is a bungalow yet my neighbour gets missed delivery card for me and he lives in a house even though I always specify its a bungalow in the address. Parceline/Business Post/City Link/DHL/Securicor-Omega are all shite IMO.
Rant over

Try using Initial City Link, I spend around 30k a year with them through my company and 95% of the stuff I ship is glass as I run a lighting company. Hardly get any breakages or fucked up deliveries so would reccomend them

www.parcel2go.com is via DHL (ex securicor) I sent something out yesterday, filled in the form online at 10:38am and the guy turned up at 12.07

So far everythings arrived ontime safe and well

Were just lucky as the local driver is not an agency lad. Agency drivers get paid by the hour, so to them 1 drop or pick up is enough, as its all the same pay Employees however are paid per item AFAIK.
