Who's got swine flu then
Anyone on here had it or got it??
My sister came to our house last week feeling unwell, on Friday she came again and said she felt ok. Later in the afternoon she went ghost white and said she was having a relapse and laughed it off. We were all sat in the sun in the back garden about 20 mins later and she started projectile vomiting from nowhere and said she felt like shit. She cleaned herself up and went home to bed, came over the next day and lay in the back garden all day feeling ill but a bit better than the previous day. So she decided to ring NHS direct who told her to ring the doctors on Monday. She rang them today and spoke to him, he says everything she has described from how she has been for the past week is confirmed as swine flu. She has been given tamiflu for it.
Bloody great. She has been in our house all week so Im waiting for my turn

My mates sister has got/had it.
The worst bit is my mate and his misses have just had their first child (first grandchild in the family) and Jay's parents can't go to see them as his sister may have given them it.
There were some tears lol!!
Added to this, my mates mum is our admin/accounts person so we can't invoice as we don't want her near the office until they are all clear.
Apparently it will be September time when the main pandemic comes in as it starts to really spread.

From what I can gather, its bloody nasty virus and you will feel like absolute death while you have it, but unless you have a underlying illness or are very old, theres little danger to you.

My burds mum and her bf had it. As did the whole football team her mums bf plays for.
Apparently its just like a really bad flu , they have been on the tamiflu stuff and are over it now.

On the flip side, I'm kind of hoping I get it in a roundabout kind of way.
A works colleagues wife works for the NHS and has said the best time to get swine flu, is NOW!
These infections are renowned to mutate, and may well come back a LOT more deadly in the coming months/years...

Have been struck down with a nasty chest infection 
Spoke to the doctor over the phone today and she was confident due to the symptoms I was describing to her that I did not have the dreaded Swine Flu.
I wish these antibiotics would hurry up and start working

My GF has it (well diagnosed by docs) and on tamiflu. She been ill since saturday and just starting to get over it now. I think it looks like the papers have made abig issue from it as it just seems like bad flu.She not been sick as such but felt like it.
As of yet, ive only had a sore throat but over that now too.

Well I havent had the grey fingers/lips, but have felt pretty crap.. Had a bad sore throat a few days ago, runny nose, was aching as well, and just felt a bit rubbish..
Didnt have any time off work, but how do you get tested?
You cant go to your doctors as they tell you to stay at home, but would be good to know?

Feeling a bit ropey now. Havent been my usual self since Sunday when I felt really sicky. Had my moments in between then and now but I went out for the first time today since Sunday and I felt tired, drowsy and like projectile vomit was imminent. Needless to say I wasnt out long and I came home, lay on my bed all night and after an hour or so felt better but it keeps coming and going

They have just diagnosed it at our Nursery ! The Dam manager has it !!
My lil Girl is only 18 months old, lil worried now to say the least !.
I had the Norovirus once, tbh i am sure that is on a par with Swine Flu !

my mate was the first in ireland to have it, and actually caught it from mexico.
all sixteen of us that had seen him when he came back from holiday, were on tamiflu, so hopefully we have some resilliance to it!
if not, its really not as bad, its more infectious than standard flu but the people that are dying are about one in the same if not less.
wouldnt worry!
