although there was no need for the kicking.
iirc (and i was drunk) they got out after it happened and shook hands and drove off .

We pulled the box off Saturday afternoon and found total friction plate failure, all the material had shattered and fallen off. Got a new clutch brought down Sunday morning and put it in, drove back last night
