My missus went to school with a lad Jonathan Horne who was killed yesterday in Helmand. He was from Walsall where his mum still lives.

its easy to forget sat in your front room, I watched saving private ryan the other week on the D day commemoration day. If that film is a near true representation of what those men faced attacking that beach then.............................
they showed more bollox than we ever could.
Yet the youth of today treat them with no respect.
WTF is this world coming to.
Afganistan is getting worse dailey.

As a dirty ass layout, lazy bastard who finds it hard work washing my car, I have alot of respect for the people out there fighting at the moment. ALOT.
It's hard to hear when people from your local area die, I can trace through people I know to 2 lads that have died.
Doesn't matter how far away you are it'll affect you some way, I dread to think how lost the people who have had people taken away from them feel.
