does anyone know if i can take it in my caravan abroad and still use it ?
i have all the spare dish and cable etc but have heard there coded to post code and wont work if out of the area , any one had this before?

depends on where your going and how big your dish is, the main free uk channels bbc1, itv, c4 etc are all on 2D satellite which has a tight footprint around the UK

the post code part is mostly for reginal programing, theres about 15 bbc1s your box picks up your post code tell its which area so you get the right local news etc, automatically, tho you can manualy add other bbc1s

the phone line bit wont matter if unpluged for a few weeks, as you disconected it to decorate your front room etc.
