Yep pretty much Lol

Maybe there is a registrar that has a record but doubt it

They had different trim options compared to the limited saloon that had 2 tone full leather etc etc

seen some 200s with half leather, full leather, no leather or the special ex police ones that had cloth in the front an da leather rear bench

Nice cars though, My mate used to own number 299 of 300 a few years ago when i had my ST24 saloon at same time

I had a 1999 (V) plate (V119FAL) if anyone knows it. Loved the car. Best car I have ever had. Had 1/2 leather Recaros which were much nicer than the full leather. Wish I still had it :-(

Can't be that many about tbh as I've owned mine near 2 years now and in all that time I've driven past three others and two of which flashed to aknowledge me as I do when I'm driving RS's.

Heres my low miler @ 68K

Think of selling but just cant find another car atm that has the same punches for the buck as a daily car.

cant help with how many were made but loved ours that we had for about 4 years and never done a thing to it other that servicing and lots of front tyres sold it to a mate and he has had it 3 years and all he has done is change the front lower arms

Bought mine as a runaround/dog ferrying car and its really surprised me... so much that I'm thinking about keeping it until it goes bang, rusts away, etc etc. Happy and comfy cruising down the motorway, huge boot, looks ok, can be hussled along a twisty section of road quite well, overtakes with relative ease and costs very little to run. Brilliant cars IMO.

Cheers,
Grant

Roughly 6500 200's were produced.

Out of these:

300 were numbered saloons
300 were un-numbered saloons
280 were estates

and the remaining 5520 or so were hatchbacks. These were for the whole of the European market though.

So it makes the estate a lot rarer beast than the one every refers to as limited edition!!!!!!

They are not too big, the missus loves her hatchback, but I love my estate more:
