I'd walk away every time, it just isn't worth it you don't know what could happen. I have been in situations like this before and have walked away asking the same questions as you, call me a wimp if you like but you just don't know what people are carrying with them, bottle, knife etc. I can't be bothered with the macho crap and seriously wonder about the mentality of the people that do just walk past someone and start a fight for no apparent reason.
You did the right thing walking away as far as I see it anyway.

Again a familier sight in todays soceity...i would ov wanted to clip him but being a prison officer i know what happens to people who r just defending others, they get caught and spend 6 months in costa del prison with me, as bad as it sounds u must always walk away unless fight is the only way out...be careful over xmas fellas its never worth it......

The problem with this world is that to many people a prepared to get smacked in the face and even worse things done to then, and then just walk off as though nothing has happened. If every person they hit turned round and gave them it big time, they would soon get sick of getting kicked the fook out off. The other problem is that to many people vare prepared to turn a blind eye , me personally would be reaching for me bat if i saw the neighbours garage getting knocked off.

Haha this one time, me and my best mate had been out on a Sat night and afterwards we went to a takeaway near the club. Can't remember if we'd seen this guy in the club or not now, but he came in the takeaway and was looking at us funny and saying shit.

We left it alone and ate our food then came outside and he was out there with his mate. Decided he was proper hammered and if they did kick off we could take them, but no point to start something if it can be avoided. Anyway we walked past him while he was giving us the proper evil eye and stuffing chips in his mouth like a coont

We carried on down the road and this guy and his mate were following us a little way behind. After a few minutes he stopped and shouted "F*CKING H*LL!!!" and slammed his chips down into the pavement so we thought fook this, there's something wrong with this guy so we just stopped walking and both stood looking at each other then at him. His mate was telling him something like don't start nothing, you ain't gonna win and then he started marching towards us, and just walked right past us! As he passed I said to him "want a chip, mate?" lol
