Just noticed in the top 40, there are 13 Michael Jackson songs. So i went to the top 100. Out of these, 32 are Michael Jackson songs

It's amazing how all the "fans" need to run out and by/download his music. I assume they only d/loaded the odd 1 song they didnt have in their collection and not full albums they have never had even though they love him so much

 

I think its cool to see him back in the charts, always loved the 80s and 90s MJ stuff, and it makes a change reading about him in the charts rather than in little boys underpants etc, his music was the only thing that ever really interested me, the world has plenty of other weirdos and peados etc to talk about but very few musicians of his calibre have ever existed, freddy mercury is about the only one to spring to mind and even he wasnt the same scale of volume of hits as jacko even if he was similarly talented in terms of actual on stage performance etc.

I dont think we'll see another Jacko type of character in our lifetime TBH, he was pretty unique with how far his musical popularity spread in terms of globally and in terms of the time period it spanned.

On topic, great to see him in the charts and remembered for his music, he was one of the defining sounds of a generation, across the world. Not many can say that, if any at all.
