What should I replace the cossie with
Probably going to be selling my saph in a month or 2 and will be looking to replace it with something fun for everyday use trouble is I'm not sure what to go for.
It has to be fast and fun to drive but be fairly economical as I have a 65 mile commute 4 days a week.
Looking to spend around 10K, anyone have any recomendations.
Cheers

I have been thinking more along the lines of a hot hatch, mk5 golf gti or similar something with lowish allround running costs.
For some reason I quite like the R26 Megane but don't know how it would fair after a couple of years of abuse.

Seat Leon cupra R.....quickish reliable everyday car that still looks different enough to be sporty with the reliability of an audi engine! You'd get a mint low mile for 8k with change to get it remapped!

Is the 525d any good?
Just kept up with one in my chipped old assfat, sure he was giving it some as he looked an arrogant wanker.
530D of that age will be 230 brake and lots of torques as JC would say.

I run a small car dealer business called Excel Autos alongside my full time job and i would recommend a BMW 525D on a 53plate facelift model
we shop at Paddock wood auctions where you would get a very nice 525d or maybe a 530d and even a M sport package on for 10K or less youd be looking at a very nice car with all the comforts performance and fuel ecomomy which is to the point of good to fair.
we have bought BMW with 100K on the clok and they are just running in and if you get a ex company car straight form the suppliers youll get a beautiful car FSH which will probaly just need a bit of elbow grease to polish up and away you go
anyway hope you find something that suits you
