Easy one to do, though clearance is tight on bell housing bolts, just take out bolts then support, lower rear of box down, comes out easy enough, but get car nice and high to start with on ramps.

Thanks.

Its unfortunate though that the guy who had this off before hasnt heard of copper grease..... thosr bolts are not wanting to come out....

A lot of people overtighten things, it's to give successive owners something to do!!
As it's Merkur, it's a lima isn't it ?, have you done the volvo head conversion to 16v ?

No, not yet, I have been looking into it, ma ybe in the future, my plan at the min though, is to get the bugger on the road!!
