Default Temp break down cover ????

Is there such a thing as temp break down cover, going down to devon for a week (5 hour drive each way) and is it worth it? Never bothed with break down cover in the 10 years i've been driving but also never took my range rover this far.

cheers steve.

Never heard of temp cover.
I know with some if you break down you can join at the roadside, so might be worth considering ?

Considering breakdown cover is only around about the £30 mark, is it really that pointless having it? As just for that one moment where you may need recovery it more than pays for itself.

Another thing to consider is to get a bank account that offers breakdown cover as part of the package.

I have joint cover with gf, around £95 a year any car, saves me a lot of worry if she has a problem and I'm miles away, only had a dicky battery so far but worth it for that alone, she was in Hemsby, Norfolk, I was in Wales.
Cheap peace of mind imo.

I think some of the bank accout ones and £30 ones are very basic cover tow off the main road or to a local garage,

I want cover that will take me and my car home if the worst happened so i can get another car and carry on, then fix it myself,

I don't want to pay much cause i haven't needed it for 10 years so can see me needing it again for a while.
