Very kind thanks. James and Will did a very good job this week too, especially in this heat. That thing saw interior temps in excess of 45 degrees this week and teh fookin windows dont even open! We were in it for 2hrs at a time sometimes!
Fact is though, the mapping will finalise everything and make a good car as fast as it can be with safety and repeatability. A crap car will only ever be fast for a very short length of time before something fails and a good car with a bad engine will never be fast at all. Most of the performance and repeatability comes from the cars build.
I think Wenny has been treating this engine to a weekly dose of hell for about 5 years now IIRC. LOL.

he hasn't been using the launch control this weekend
York raceway seams to be a faster strip than pod due to them only gluing the first 60ft
the Mk3 has been putting smiler times in at both York & pod so roll on next time at pod

Car really is a credit to him - was so pleased yesterday when I got a text from him that said he'd done a 10.9...
Was even more pleased when i got one this morning saying 10.6!!!

cheers people, the car was having throttle issues all weekend, so i done these times on 3/4 throttle or so, but i went hoping for a 10.5 so the times i got with this problem i was happy with, i have a few more mods lined up, to try and get towards 10.3, then put nos on for a 9.9 lol
got 10.61 @133mph
best 0-60 was 2.9
best 60ft was 1.57
altenator gave up this afternoon and it was a brand new one, so couldnt go out for the cool air, i also ripped the alloy fuel tank of its mounts in the back of the car, so had it strapped to the rear strutbarce all weekend lol
