hmmm hope the aerials ok . but due to Si having carbon fibre roof, bonnet and boot it supposed to magnetise on and act as a ground plane for the aerial to work must be why.

I had a great couple of sessions early on then pulled the helicoils out of a gearbox mount and couldnt carry on after that.

Great suggestion from dangerous to use a ratchet strap wrapped round it saw me get it home ok, should think a bit of chemical metal and a stud and nut conversion will sort it hopefully.

Other than that, clio was going great and I managed to get past a couple of 3 doors who probably had more than twice the power I have, lol

Think Helen is going to buy one now (probably a new one though not old cheap crap like mine) as she was really loving how well it cornered when I took her out in it.

Had another blinding day in the trusty red Nissan Primera. Did 8 sessions in total which is quite good for combe.

Had a natter with Si B at lunchtime, Spiky was flying in the 205 as usual as well.

I wondered over to you chip, but you looked a bit "busy" with the clio so i left you in peace LOL

Even though it was cloudy on and off, and i spent most of the day sat in the car, my neck is sunburnt to fook as well...

You were ripping today Steve. Fair play fella.

Very true about some of the driving today... some folks seem too proud to let faster cars past...

The V-reg 200SX was a bit lucky at Quarry! Enjoyed the track action - bit sunburnt now though. There was a good choice for the Charity Rides - wanted to go out in the Labatts Sierra but it seemed luck of the draw.

The drifters were great entertainment but it must cost them a fortune to run if today's attrition was anything to go by! I thought the BMs were the most spectacular - got some good pics of them

.......and not forgetting the guy driving the light blue Mk2 Escort who wasn't part of the drifting team but was great fun to watch at Quarry!

What happened to the Reyland MG and that big Merc coupe 320 thing?

Did the MGB GT V8 have some sort of problem as well? Seemed to vanish off track mid-session and didn't see him again although he was going well up to that point

Had a really good day, enjoyed my drive up there in Yum, we had a good little convoy going, and our club stand looked good with the cars we had on there.

Enjoyed my trip out in the Clio, tho gutted it broke again for Chip

Got a ride out in Si B's Evo, enjoyed that as usual. Cheers Si

Was good to see and catch up with loads of people, Si & Nigel, Jay, Jim, Will, Fast Ford guys i could go on but too many to list !

And loved my laps out in the Labbatts 3dr, that was awsome
